In Season 5 of ABC's fairytale drama Once Upon a Time, Merlin finds himself on a valiant quest to free Emma from the powers of an ancient darkness. Though the task is dangerous, anything beats life as a tree. Since his big reveal as the famed sorcerer, actor Elliot Knight (whom you may also recognize as Aiden on How to Get Away with Murder) has quickly become one of the most beloved characters in Storybrooke.
