Brad Pitt was branded a hero after he scooped a fallen extra from the ground while filming a chaotic stampede scene for World War Z in Glasgow's George Square. Pitt also got props in 2008 for allegedly helping an autograph-seeking fan back onto a boat after he slipped and fell into a lake during the Venice Film Festival.
