Are 'Game of Thrones' Author George R.R. Martin and 'Veep's' Julia Louis-Dreyfus Besties Now?
The most strange and satisfying celeb friendship ever.
"Veep of Thrones" is happening, and the world beyond Westeros has gone mad.
On Saturday, Veep's Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who plays hilariously jaded Selena Meyer on the HBO comedy, met up with Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin.
Louis-Dreyfus enjoyed the spontaneous meeting so thoroughly that she posted a selfie of the two to her instagram page, where fans proceeded to go all kinds of Dothraki.
Observe.
Martin was at Chicago's Northwestern University, his alma mater, where he was visiting for the weekend to receive an alumni honor. It just so happened that Louis-Dreyfus was also in attendance, supporting her son, who also attends the school. And thus, "Veep of Thrones" was born.
Talk about a happy accident. We're sure Louis-Dreyfus channeled Selena for the hangout.
