Brad Pitt showed up at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Saturday night with his lovely gal Angelina Jolie... and a cane. The actor said he injured his knee while carrying his daughter Vivienne down a hill --  "It was either her or me," he said -- and while he doesn't appear to need surgery, he'll be hobbling along with a cane for a while.
