Fans Finally Send Steve-O Home

Despite his unwavering determination and endless energy, Jackass star Steve-O and partner Lacey Schwimmer were voted off Dancing With the Stars on last night's results show.

Although his elimination was a long-time coming -- he's consistently received the lowest scores in the competition, and received only a 16 after his Rumba Monday night -- his departure was bittersweet.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba told People she'll miss the competition's comedian:
He's the most kindest and uplifting and dedicated person. I just fell in love with the person behind the dancer.
Steve-O no doubt gained respect from judges and his fellow dancers as the competition went on, not only for his always upbeat attitude, but for his perseverance, especially after sustaining two painful injuries early on in the competition.

With a pinched nerve in his back and internal injuries, which resulted from a hard fall on his microphone pack, Steve-O refused to quit dancing. This may have been the reason his dancing never really improved, but it's definitely one of the reasons his fans kept him in the competition.

After his elimination Steve-O told E! :
I met a lot of challenges, I made a lot of mistakes, the fans kept me around enough to learn from it all. It's been awesome. It's forced me to really grow as a person, for that, I'm super grateful."
It wasn't revealed last night who received the second-least amount of votes after Monday night's performances, but rodeo cowboy Ty Murray was in second to last place after only receiving an 18 from the judges.
