'Glee's' Darren Criss and 'Awkward's' Jessica Lu Join 'American Horror Story: Hotel'
Some fresh meat has arrived to the Hotel Cortez.
Here's a combination spoiler/life lesson for you: artisanal cheese platter envy will get you murdered.
Glee's Darren Criss and Awkward's Jessica Lu made their debut appearance on American Horror Story: Hotel Wednesday night, only to meet a rapid and violent end. They are, however, a beautiful couple and should really ponder their poor attitudes in the afterlife.
Criss himself acknowledged the fault in his character, Justin, via Twitter as the show ran.
Lu was not to be outdone, also sharing a message and a behind-the-scenes pic from the episode.
She's down a boyfriend, but now maybe her hipster soul will have some journaling material.
Also, we love her confidence.
Criss is best known as Blaine Anderson from Glee, though the 28-year-old also runs his own musical theatre company in Chicago. Lu, on the other hand, played Ming Huang on MTV's Awkward, and is heavily involved in LBGTQ advocation.
In short, they're much better people than their AHS characters, and we wish they hadn't departed so soon.
