For the love of pie, why is this happening?

On Friday, stars of Supernatural announced it's the end of the road for Dean, Sam, and Castiel. The CW's beloved, long-running series will end after Season 15 which comes as a major shocker for those of us who believed it would go on till the end of time. The devastating news will definitely ruin your weekend. What's worse? Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins made the big announcement in a heart-wrenching video. Say goodbye to your tear ducts, folks.

Supernatural executive producers Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb also opened up about the surprising news in a joint statement: "Firstly, we would like to thank all the people who have been involved with the show both in front of and behind the camera. For us it has been an experience of a lifetime. The support we have had from both Warner Bros Television and The CW has been incredible. We'd like to give special thanks to Jensen, Jared and Misha for making this journey so special. It is now most important to us to give these characters that we love the send off they deserve."

Season 15 of Supernatural will feature 20 episodes. We hope it gives Dean, Sam, and Castiel the epic send-off they deserve. If you're having difficulty processing this news, grab a couple trays of apple pie and go to town. We're not judging, and Dean's certainly not judging.
